His speed and agility on the Rugby field were quickly recognised earning Ben representative duties. His other interests include hunting and fishing. An injury was the catalyst for Ben to consider Lacrosse as new contact sport.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBen joined the Hamilton Boys High School box lacrosse team that were Runners-up in the Waikato championship. His representative duties started in his rookie year, with selection into the Waikato U15 squad, a team he captained to victory against the highly favoured Auckland team. His strong performance earnt him a place in the wider NZ U18 training and trial squad.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBen is a highly motivated and disciplined player, his elusive foot work and strength makes him a dangerous goal scoring threat.
